Chairman of the Retired Officer’s Social Club, Brigadier Bala Naidoo, celebrated his 68th birthday, recently.
Brig Naidoo initiated and founded the Retired Officer’s Social Club in September 2016, with branches in PMB and Durban. He was elected as the chairman of both clubs.

He was the provincial head of the Criminal Record Centre, based in Durban, where he spent a number of years as such, before his retirement after more than 42 years at SAPS.
He was nominated to attend two crime conferences abroad, one in the UK and the other in Belgium.
He is married to Lily, a former teacher and they have two sons, who are healthcare professionals based in Pietermaritzburg.
