A frail looking Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu is among those paying their respects to the former deputy Chairperson of the Truth and Reconcilation Commission, Alex Boraine at his memorail service at the Christ Church in Constantia. Boraine passed away last week in Cape Town at the age of 87. Tutu has applauded Boraine’s work, especially his organisational skills during the commission. The Arch also called on South Africans to remember the life and work of Boraine as they owe him a great debt of gratitude. Boraine was one of the architects of the TRC who helped South Africans deal with apartheid atrocities.
