A man believed to be in his thirties has been admitted to Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town in a critical condition after he was dragged under a train at Salt River station. ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, says paramedics found the man lying next to the train tracks when they arrived. Meiring says the man was stabilised on the scene, before being transported to hospital for further treatment: “Assessments showed that the man had sustained a significant head injury and was in a critical condition. The man was treated for his injuries and provided with advanced life support intervention, before he was transported to Groote Schuur Hospital for further treatment. Local Authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”

  1. When ever Metro rail word show up i just freak cz iknow someone is dead or injured on train.idont know we must keep on calling the Failing government of this South Africa.why not buses now metro is no use of it.
