A team of police detectives are currently following up on all possible leads following a house robbery that happened in Nkonyeni Street, Kwanobuhle, in Uitenhage, at about 04:30, on Monday morning.
“It is alleged that two unknown males forcefully entered the premises and threatened the female complainant (42), who was inside her home,” said police spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart.
“The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money, a television set, tablet, cellphones and clothing and groceries and then fled in her vehicle, a Citroen.”
Captain Swart said that Kwanobuhle SAPS are investigating a case of house robbery.
“No arrests were made as yet and anyone, who might be able to assist with any information, may contact SAPS Kwanobuhle at 041 9788600.”
She appealed to the community to help the police by sharing information, which can assist in the fight against crime.
