Provincial police spokesman, Lt Col Thulani Zwane said, “On February 25, 2018, four armed men accosted Ngema at her home in the Ntuzuma Reserve. One of the armed men accused her of reporting his criminal deeds to local anti-crime community members.”
They shot and killed the victim and then robbed family members of their cellphones.

Cases of murder and robbery were opened at the local police station for investigation. A month later, police arrested the accused, who was found with a firearm in his possession.
