In honour of her 100th birthday, the family of Alice Fernandez threw her a glittering surprise party at Tatso at Sibaya Casino on Saturday.
Family members travelled from far and wide to celebrate with the centenarian.

She has five children, 19 grandchildren, 50 great grand children and 10 great great grand children.
She still cooks and reads the newspaper without glasses, never dyed her hair or used nail polish.
