The play, based on Francois Smit’s crowned novel, tells the true story of Susan Nell who was raped in one of the British concentration camps in the Free State at the time, and left for dead. Years later her path crosses with that of her rapist. The doyenne of South African Theatre, Sandra Prinsloo portrays the lead character in the production directed by Lara Foot.
