ANC NEC member Naledi Pandor says South Africans should learn to create jobs for…

ANC NEC member Naledi Pandor says South Africans should learn to create jobs for themselves rather than relying on being employed. She addressed party members at the Portlands indoor sports centre in Mitchell’s Plain. Pandor has been deployed in the area to interact with party members and give them an update on the work of government. Pandor, who is also Minister for Higher Education, says to bridge the unemployment gap, government has created an entrepreunership fund to help young people get business skills. She says the fund is being disbursed at all universities to train students and empower lecturers. She says government is in a better position to offer free education to under privileged citizens. Pandor says the economy can only grow if more jobs are being created at all levels and production sectors.
