ANGRY DAD DEMANDS ANSWERS!

AN MPUMALANGA dad is worried. He claims a suspect who allegedly attempted to rape his 3-year-old daughter was seen roaming the streets. The dad (32) from Vosman, in Witbank, said he was upset because cops couldn’t give him a reason why the suspect was freed just a few days after being arrested. He said the suspect who is a madala has caused panic in his family and now his children are even afraid to go outside to play. The angry dad said if it wasn’t for a five-year-old boy who came running after he saw a disturbing picture of the naked madala (63) with his child, they would be talking a different story. The incident happened on 31 March. when children who were playing in the street were called by the alleged suspect. “This boy came to tell us quickly before the a madala could rape my daughter,” said the dad.“I went out rushing to madala’s house and when I got there, I just took my baby and when we asked him what he was doing, he said he was playing with my kid.” He said the boy told him madala sent him to buy cigarette at a spaza shop and when he wanted to take the little girl with, madala refused. “I called the community and they wanted mob justice, but I stopped them and instead took this man to the police station to open a case of attempted rape,” said the dad. only to be told later that they don’t know why he was released.” He said the kid was also taken for an examination and it was confirmed that there was no penetration. Police spokesman Colonel Mtsholi Bhembe confirmed that a case 02/04/2019 of attempted rape was opened. He said the case docket was transferred to the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Witbank, and that a suspect was charged.Bhembe said the case returned from court on 3 April but the next court date was not set.
