Aug 12, 2019Uitenhage – Police in Kamesh, Uitenhage, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving two separate murder cases after two male bodies were found on the streets in Kamesh, Uitenhage, over the weekend.”On Saturday, at around 23:30, police were summoned to a complaint of a possible murder in Seagull Street, Kamesh (Uitenhage),” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli.”At the scene, police found a man with several gunshot wounds in the upper body and was declared dead.”The deceased was later identified as Jarrell Lloyd (22).”He said that preliminary investigations by the police led them to a second victim that they believe was also injured during the same shooting incident and was rushed and admitted at hospital with gunshot wounds in the upper body.”Police opened a case of murder and attempted murder for further investigation.”Sergeant Nkohli said that in a separate incident, on Saturday night, at about 22:30, police attended a complaint of murder in Brinkhuis Street, Kamesh (Uitenhage).”At the scene, police found a lifeless body of Ntsikelelo Douws (30) with several stab wounds in the upper body.”In both incidents, the motives for the attacks are unknown.”Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects in any of the two incidents to contact the investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Bennie Van Wyk at 071 475 1946 or to share information via Crime Stop 08600 10111,” said Sergeant Nkohli.Follow more RNEWS articles, subscribe to our YouTube channel and for breaking news LIKE us on Facebook.
