Arjun Ramkaran has excelled once again.
Arjun Ramkaran, the youngest swimmer to complete all nine Dolphin Mile Surf Swims, hails from Phoenix.
The Dolphin Mile Series is a unique event that promotes swimmers of all ages and those physically able to participate in sea swimming.
The 11-year-old champ participated in the 1,6km swim held from April to September.
The youngster found favour against all odds when he pulled through an injury after he was accidentally kicked by an adult swimmer, while doing what he loves most.

Young Ramakaran made a full recovery after a month of recuperating and training. He made his return not only competing in one Dolphin Mile Surf Swims event, but competing in nine of them.
During the prize-giving awards, Ramkaran was awarded with a gold cap. Heather Campbell, the event organiser, handed Ramkaran the honour of being the youngest swimmer to complete all nine swims in the series.
The Hopeville Primary pupil is currently learning how to surf at Rob’s Surf School. The swimmer is also part of a karate club.
