Armed attackers shoot Phoenix man during house robbery

A Phoenix man was injured after being shot twice by three armed attackers during a robbery at his Uppingham Grove home, over the weekend.
Police reports indicate that at about 7:50pm on Saturday evening, three men stormed the home after kicking down the door.

Two of the suspects produced firearms and began threatening the maid at the home, demanding she call for the homeowner.
Upon calling the owner, who was in the bedroom, the suspects walked to the bedroom, kicked the door open and demanded the keys to the homeowner’s vehicle.

After the victim handed over the keys, he was shot twice.

The suspects then grabbed a laptop and fled in the victim’s vehicle, a silver VW Polo.
The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to the shoulder and the cheek, was rushed to hospital by his wife where he is recovering.
