Police in Bhisho have appealed to the public for assistance with information that can help in their investigations following the discovery of a burnt woman’s body by a local resident.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Siphokazi Mawisa, local police were called to a scene where a community member, who was collecting wood at the bushes saw the body.
“On police arrival on the bushes between Yellowoods Farm, behind Tru FM at Bisho, they saw a burnt body of unknown African female allegedly to be in her thirties,” she described.
“It is not clear if the body came there alive or already dead but was found burnt. Police investigation is continuing.
“We appeal to anyone who have his or her relative missing to contact Detective Captain Mzimkhulu Piliso of Bhisho SAPS on 079 508 9330.”
