The guest speakers together with principal of Clayhaven Primary School at the career day programme.

For their 2018 career day, grade seven pupils from the Clayhaven Primary School dressed up as who they aspired to be.
With many dressed as doctors, engineers, lawyers and police officers to name a few, the career day was graced by professionals from various career paths.
The professionals lectured the eager pupils about what subjects are compulsory for their respective professions, how long it took to study for that profession, before reaping the rewards and what a day in that professional looked like.

The enthusiastic pupils of Clayhaven listened before having a one-on-one session with the professionals, where they fulfilled their yearning to ask questions.
Communications officer of Phoenix SAPS, Cpt Louise Naidoo, chemical engineer, J Jairam who is currently pursuing a PhD, Dr D Chinasamy, a general practitioner, M Khoele, a journalist at the Phoenix Sun, L Chetty, a social worker and S Ismail, a businesswoman, imparted their knowledge on the ambitious pupils.
Reddy, co-ordinator of the 2018 career day, thanked the guests for availing themselves.
The principal of Clayhaven also expressed his gratitude to the guests, Mrs Reddy and Mrs Jairam for assisting in the career day programme.
