CICA STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BRIBERY & CORRUPTION AT ACSA AMOUNTING TO BILLIONS OVER A 20 YEAR PERIOD
For those who have been following the evidence given at the State Capture inquiry by the ex COO of BOSASA Security, it will come as cold comfort to know that the corruption is still alive & well within ACSA procurement to this very day.
We called it in March 2018. Looks like we were correct.
The evidence currently being given is that BOSASA Security & the CEO Gavin Watson have played a pivotal role in not only fostering a culture of crime at the country’s busiest airport, but they have also been helping toward collapsing South Africa from within.
Basically for the last 20 years BOSASA has been awarded tenders at inflated prices.
These contracts have been paid for using your hard earned tax money, & they have been inflated to pay millions in bribes each month to ACSA & ANC officials.
This evidence brings some answers for our good friend Yusuf Abramjee & others who are also sick of the rampant crime at OR Tambo International Airport.
Finally there is now some concrete insight into what has been happening & how ACSA management including Mohamed Bashir, Joe Serobe & Reuben Pillay amongst others have been receiving personal monthly cash payments from service providers.
We are told that Joe Serobe is now a director of Swedish security company Securitas, which was recently awarded substantial ACSA contracts, so clearly the rot continues.
Watch ex BOSASA COO – Angelo Agrizzi give evidence at the state capture inquiry, detailing how cash payments, Cartier watches, Mont Blanc pens amongst numerous other bribes were given to ACSA management by service providers on a monthly basis.
Anyone still wondering how that R100 million ZAR went missing in an airside armed robbery? Clearly the inside job was more far reaching than anyone imagined. To date nobody has been convicted & ACSA officials who were arrested are walking free.
WATCH: Brave Facebook user Hendrick Nemalili challenges a scam artist at O.R. Tambo International Airport. Nice work Hendrick.
Security operations at the busiest airport in Africa is contracted to PSI company BOSASA Security, a company rumored to have a majority ANC shareholding which is said to make them immune to investigations or review by government.
Despite ongoing rampant crime which appears to be enabled from within security operations at the airport, BOSASA continues unchallenged to oversee a National Key Point operation.
#ORT airport is vital hub of the economy on the African continent yet it has some of the most advanced criminal syndicates operating from deep inside its operations.
A culture of criminality can never advance a civilized sustainable economy. Instead it will contribute to a rapid decline in tourism & trade.
