Eldorado park Johannesburg
“It is with great concern that the Eldorado Park Police Station has noticed a rise in social fabric (socially-motivated) crimes such as common assault and damage to property,” said Communications officer, constable Fezeka Khobo.
“I want to reiterate to the community that the Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) has been established to help the community with any interventions regarding domestic-related cases, neighbour disputes as well conflicts where anger is displayed.
The centre allows for interventions to be done before criminal cases are opened. The SAPS hereby requests members of the community to utilise the services at the VEC instead of resorting to criminal cases,” she added.
The centre can be found at the police station and is open 24hrs.
