DA Western Cape premier candidate, Alan Winde, has called for a partnership between the provincial government, municipalities as well as the police to strengthen marine security. Winde has been joined in Houtbay harbour by the party’s spokesperson on crime, John Steenhuisen and the city’s Mayco member for Safety and Security, JP Smith, to outline the party’s plan on maritime security. They have also met up with the City’s Law Enforcement Marine unit. Since the unit was established in January last year, 45 people have been arrested for various offenses such as poaching and illegal fishing. Winde has called for joint police patrols with the City’s marine unit to deal with crime hotspots.

  1. If you are in the market for an ISP. Never ever use Webafrica.
They promise the world and deliver nothing. They are the equivalent to the ANC. False promises and blaming everybody else. There best quote for a year long problems. “cancel your service until better technology arrives” but pay the cancellation fee.
    Never use #webafrica.
I have had 14 months of problems and logged over 200 tickets. Most get closed without resolve.
    You have been warned.
