Mboniseni ‘Bonii’ Nkosinathi Mgeyane and Senzo ‘Zehla’ Funokwakhe Mkhize.
The search for two missing Nsuze men came to a tragic end after the decomposed bodies of the friends were discovered by Nsuze police and the Ilembe Cluster Task Team following an intelligence-driven operation.
The gruesome discovery was made in the KwaNodwengu area under the Ndwedwe policing precinct.

The victims, Mboniseni ‘Bonii’ Nkosinathi Mgeyane and Senzo ‘Zehla’ Funokwakhe Mkhize were last seen together on July 18 in the Bhamshela area near the taxi rank.
On that day, Mkhize contacted his sister, who resides in Durban, and informed her that he was being attacked by people who wanted to kill him.
After that, his phone was switched off.
Two counts of murder were opened at the Ndwedwe police station and in addition, two suspects, aged 29 and 31, were apprehended.

According to police reports, a 31-year-old suspect was found in possession of a pistol with its serial number filed off during the arrest.
He was immediately charged and appeared in court. The accused was remanded in police custody until November 28. He was taken to the Ndwedwe police station to join his accomplice.
