The Economic Freedom Fighters is upset over the alleged racism in Wellington, in the Western Cape. A video of black people and white people in different line went viral on Wednesday. It sparked outrage from some social media users. However, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) rejected the claims of racial segregation. It said voters were separated according to their registration status not race. IEC Western Cape provincial electoral officer, Courtney Sampson, said one of the lines was for those who were not registered in the area and had to fill forms before they could make their mark. EFF spokesperson, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, has rejected the explanation.
