Eight Cape Town comedians will be joining forces next week in aid of the victims of last month fire in Khayelitsha. Over a thousand residents were left destitute when a fire razed more than 300 informal dwellings in Town Two. The funny men and women will perform on Tuesday night at the Cape Town Comedy Club, The Pumphouse at the V&A Waterfront. All proceeds of the show will go towards the Khayelitsha Fire Relief. Patrons have also been requested to bring food, clothes, school books and blankets to the performance which will be handed over to the fire victims. The rubber faces on the special programme for the evening are Goodhope fm’s, Dalin Oliver, Riaad Moosa, Kurt Schoonraad, Mel Jones, Angel Campey, Carl Weber, Conrad Koch and KG.
