Elderly Phoenix woman taken on terror ride and robbed

An elderly Phoenix woman, who was returning home from a prayer, was robbed of her jewellery by two men presenting themselves as Good Samaritans in the Phoenix area on Saturday.
The grandmother was offered a lift home by two men.

She accepted the ride from the seemingly kind men, however, during the drive the men allegedly threatened the elderly woman and forced her to hand over her bangles.
She was later dropped off at a garage. At the garage, a helpful family discovered the woman and safely took her home.
She sustained slight injuries and was left highly traumatised.

A local security company responded, treating the woman’s injuries and went in search of the suspects.
However, no arrests have been made yet. Phoenix SAPS is investigating the matter further.
