Four expected in Stutterheim court for stock theft

Jan 18, 2019The efficient utilisation of resources in support of the investigation of crime yielded good results when the Stutterheim Stock Theft Unit arrested four suspects in possession of a carcass at Toise Village, Stutterheim. “Police followed up the information they received and managed to recover carcass at about 03h00,” said police spokesperson, Captain Siphokazi Mawisa.”Four suspects were immediately arrested and charged for Stock Theft.”Meanwhile, police officers proceeded to Peddie where they recovered five stolen cattle at Nqwenerhana Location outside Peddie.She said that these cattle were stolen at Cwecweni Location, which falls under the Punzana Police Station, at the beginning of this month.”They were handed over to the lawful owner by police.
