TORONTO – Honda is recalling about 1.2 million vehicles in North and Central America as a result of their Takata air rating inflators can explode and ship shrapnel into the passenger compartment.
The steal impacts 83,977 vehicles in Canada and involves many Honda and Acura devices from as far attend as 2001 and as most up-to-date as 2010.
Transport Canada says the steal only impacts determined vehicles that had a Takata airbag inflator installed from 2014 and afterwards for the length of a previous airbag steal or collision restore.
