In the early hours of Sunday morning, HCW/Vetus Schola Patrol Officer Jaco reported that while he was on patrol in the Bizweni area, he came across a suspicious male walking with a back pack . He approached the person and found that he had a very unusual amount of extremely expensive alcohol in his bag. This after he had confirmed to Jaco that he had “nothing” in his bag. HCW/Vetus Schola Patrol Officer Jaco requested SAPS to stand off at his location. The suspect finally admitted to the police that he had broken into a house in Eagle Crescent, where he had found the variety of expensive alcohol. The suspect was arrested and taken to the station, where it was found that he had been released from Pollsmoor prison a week ago after having served a fairly lengthy sentence there.
It would seem that the suspect did not learn from his previous “mistakes”.
Well done to Jaco for his alertness and perserverance.
It’s time to take back our streets!!!!
