Principal, Dr S Pillay and the staff are proud of the pupils’ achievements and would like to wish them well in their future sporting endeavours.

Adding to the success, Ethen James Govinden, S Ismail and Gabrielle Padayachee secured silver medals in Table Tennis division.

The principal, staff, members of the SGB and pupils of Dawncrest Primary School congratulated the pupils and wish them everything of the best in the forthcoming friendship games to be held in Tongaat in August.

Being crowned the 2018 Tonver chess champs is a great achievement for the pupils, who possess a true sense of dedication.

Principal of Seatides Combined School, Mr K Govender, would like to compliment the Baldeo siblings on their win and for bringing victory back to the school.

The under 13 and under 11 chess selections for the Friendship Games were recently held at Verulam Secondary School.

Ms Govender explained that teachers and parents always go the extra mile in terms of education and extracurricular activities.

The pupils were also praised by their sport co-ordinators for upholding the true spirit of table tennis and portraying fantastic sportsmanship.

To make this milestone in his running career, he will use this year’s run as a fundraiser for Belverton Secondary School’s improvement project.

Principal of Little Echoes Educare, Shantal Pather said the children are really looking forward to a day that’s not only filled with healthy competition and camaraderie but also fun memories.
