A search is underway for two armed suspects after they allegedly robbed and repeatedly stabbed a Mozambican national in the presence of his wife and one-year-old child on Todd Street near Oaklands, on Sunday morning.
Local security company, Reaction Unit South Africa, responded to the scene just after 8:05am after they received information of the incident.

The injured man was treated for multiple stab wounds to his arm and thigh when reaction officers arrived at the scene.
The 28-year-old victim informed officers that he ran a tuck-shop at an informal settlement in Redcliffe.
“He was on his way with his wife and child to Verulam to purchase stock for the business when he was approached by two suspects, who drew knives and demanded valuables,” a report issued by RUSA stated.

The man handed over his Hisense cellphone and R200 in cash.
The suspects then stabbed him twice of his right forearm and twice on his right thigh before they fled the scene on foot.
