Man’s relatives sought by police following stabbing

Makhosonke Hlathi Ndzwanana is from New Village location in the Ndwedwe area.

Ndwedwe SAPS is trying to locate the relatives of a 60-year-old man, who was seriously injured following a stabbing incident.

Provincial police spokesman, Cpt Nqobile Gwala said, “Makhosonke Hlathi Ndzwanana is from New Village location in the Ndwedwe area.”

It is alleged that on February 14, 2019, at about 7:30pm, he was attacked by a known man, who stabbed him on the neck, resulting in him sustaining serious injuries.
The victim was rushed to hospital.
“He is believed to be from Flagstaff in the Eastern Cape. None of his neighbours have met or seen his family and he lived alone for many years,” she added.
