Metrorail says train services in the Cape Metro are generally not affected by load shedding. Metrorail spokesperson, Riana Scott says stations dependent on municipal power such as Wellington Station have been affected. Meanwhile, Eskom says it will continue with rotational load shedding for the next few days until it can restore it connection with imports from the Cahora-Bassa Dam in northern Mozambique. The area is affected by tropical Cyclone Idai. The power utility says it will continue with Stage 4 rotational load shedding today from eight o’clock this morning to eleven o’clock tonight.
