By Jesica Slabbert – Feb 16, 2019It was an eventful Valentine’s Day at Kelston Motor Group in Port Elizabeth. While everyone else worried about buying sweets and flowers, Kelston Motor Group allowed members of the media to test drive a few of their top vehicles for the day.Arriving in the morning, we were introduced to Karen Muller, the Dealer Principal at Kelston Motor Group PE, who explained the day’s programme.“Happy Valentine’s Day to all, I hope that you will all love the vehicles that you will be test driving today,” said Muller. When all was said and done, each media representive selected the first car they were going to test drive and headed for the Sacramento Restaurant in Schoenmakerskop, where we enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast and coffee. My first car was the Volkswagen Caddy. A great car to drive, the Caddy has a lot of space and offers a very smooth drive. The car is a manual drive and has a camera that activates when reversing for your peace of mind.Enjoyed my Valentine’s Day test drive at Kelston Motor Group This car is very spacious and is great for families or athletes who need to transport large equipment around. My next car was the Volkswagen Tiguan. Being a female driver, this seven-seater stood out among all the other ones I drove. An ideal family car, it has plenty of space and is a total smooth ride. The car is automatic, but can also function as a manual drive with ease. And finally, the last car I test drove for the day was the Peugeot 3008 SUV. Another automatic drive, this car offered smooth sailing the whole drive and made traffic less of a nightmare – even for a lady driver. The car has a lot of space and driving in quite a large vehicle was lots of fun.It was clear though, that the most in demand car of the event was the new Volkswagen Touareg. Worth more and R1-million, this car caught everyone’s eye with its beautiful design and large screen display. To book a test-drive with Kelston Motor Group, call them on 041 368 3434.
