A 24-year-old man will spend 14 years behind bars after he was found guilty of murder in court, recently.
Sicebi Mthembu was sentenced for the murder of 36-year-old Dumisani Mthembu at the Zonza Reserve.

Provincial police spokesman, Lt Col Thulani Zwane said, “It is alleged that on February 2, 2018, the accused was on his way home from a local tavern when he came across the victim.”
After an argument, the victim was stabbed to death.
“A case of murder was subsequently opened for investigation. A search was conducted and the accused was arrested on the same day,” he added.

At the time of his arrest, the accused was found with a knife in his possession as well as the victim’s loose hair.
“The accused made several court appearances until he was convicted,” Lt Col Zwane concluded.
