Mar 27, 2019Port Elizabeth – The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality on Wednesday advised local residents and businesses that there will be refuse collection challenges after its refuse collection workers embarked on a protest.”Please be advised that Municipal workers have embarked on a March today and as a result no refuse collection is expected today [Wednesday],” said Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Communications and Media Management Officer, Mthubanzi Mniki.It was not immediately clear when the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality expects the refuse collection strike to end – previous strikes went on for weeks.Areas affected by Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality refuse collection workers’ marchMniki said that the affected areas are as follows:1.
