Blood, sweat and blisters were part of the running of the 50th Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon but not even a last-minute route diversion via Ou Kaapseweg could deter the 21km and 56km runners who took on ‘the world’s most beautiful marathon’ through rain and gloom, over the Easter weekend.
The Tongaat Panthers Athletic Club was proud to have 20 runners participate in the ultra marathon and half marathon collectively.

Devan Reddy ran his first Two Oceans Ultra Marathon, leading the team home in an excellent time of 4:59.
Sabelo Mdanule followed him in 5:16.
Female Panther, Sajhida Abdool completed her 24th Two Oceans ultra in 5:44. Grandmaster, Dan Pillay obtained his blue number in the half marathon.
It was a proud moment for the Tongaat Panthers Athletic Club as all participants completed in good times.
