Gauteng police say security forces are continuing to monitor areas in Soweto affected by taxi violence. This after six people were injured yesterday – following an exchange of gun fire, allegedly between members of the two organisations. Ten vehicles were also damaged. It’s believed they were fighting over control of the routes, which is used by the WATA and NANDUWE taxi associations.
