Police have confiscated uncutdiamonds worth an estimated 400-thousand rand and arrested two suspects in Somerset West outside Cape Town. Police spokesperson, Noloyiso Rwexana, says officers were given a tip-off about a diamond deal that was to take place at a local pub: “Upon their arrival police found two men in possession of uncut diamonds. The men could not provide proof of ownership and were arrested. Two men aged 36 and 56 year old are expected to appear in court in the Somerset Magistrate’s court on Friday, 26 November.”
