May 31, 2019King Williams Town – Inroads have been made by the Detective Team assembled by Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Liziwe Ntshinga last month following the criminal incidents of arson, murder and attempted murder at KwaKhanyayo, which resulted in 56 houses burnt down.”Three suspects, aged between 44 and 57 years, were arrested on Thursday at about 16:10,” said police spokesperson, Colonel Sibongile Soci.”The suspects will appear in the Flagstaff Magistrate’s Court on Friday on charged of fraud and theft.”He said that the investigation continues and more arrests are imminent.”The investigation is progressing very well and we are confident that it will get to the root causes of what we saw at Kwakhanyayo.
