President Cyril Ramaphosa has officially welcomed a new set of trains at the Cape Town Station. The modernised train which is blue, grey and black in colour can transport more than 200 passengers. The President also took a ride from the Cape Town Station to Mowbray and back, accompanied by Transport Minister Blade Nzimande, his deputy Sindi Chikunga and board members and senior executive from PRASA. Ramaphosa promised that government is working towards improving rail transport in the country.

  1. so the trains can actually transport 200 people wow…200 people inside and dont forget 400 people ontop riding the wave 😀 oh wait and another 200 hanging outside the windows after they take the windows out 😀

    He supposed to travel from khayelitsha to cape Town
    He will c we don’t need carriages 🚃 for 200 people we need for 2000 people
