President Cyril Ramaphosa has revealed that South Africa will hold its 2019 general elections…

President Cyril Ramaphosa has revealed that South Africa will hold its 2019 general elections before May. He was speaking during the meeting with the Council on Foreign Relations in New York on the side-lines of the 73rd UN General Assembly. The meeting was attended by academics and people with international business interests amongst others. Asked about the ruling ANC’s support ahead of the polls. President Ramaphosa maintained that unity is prevailing with the party following the hotly contested conference in December last year: “The party is renewing itself in the way that it functions and is appealing to our people once again and those who are disillusioned are coming back as individuals but a number of other organisations that the ANC used to work with are also coming back. The ANC is once again finding traction and I’m confident that it should win the next elections which will be held before May 2019.”

  1. I hope coloureds will finally wake up and see that the DA is NOT for us. There is no party that wants to cater for our needs, even in our own province. And don’t tell me kak about the Cape Party, those idiots.
