President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged political parties to do all they can to ensure…

President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged political parties to do all they can to ensure that the will of the people prevails during the May 8th general elections. He was speaking at the ceremony to unveil inscriptions depicting the values of the Constitution on the steps of both Houses of Parliament. The ceremony was also to officially close the 100-year birthday anniversaries of Nelson Mandela and Albertina Sisulu. Ramaphosa called on the parties to campaign responsibly and to observe the principles unveiled at parliament: “To continue to observe these values these principles and to do as much as we possibly can to respect these values and principles but more importantly to do and say nothing that will cause disunity amongst all of us as South Africans. Let us all campaign responsibly and do our part to ensure a free fair and credible election.”
