Residents of Burundi Informal Settlement in Mfuleni have called on the City of Cape…

Residents of Burundi Informal Settlement in Mfuleni have called on the City of Cape Town to relocate them to a serviced area due to squalid conditions. They are complaining about wet conditions and a lack of access to roads into the area. They say they do not have basic services such as electricity and proper sanitation.

  1. I recall a while ago a firetruck not being able to gain access to an area because they built on THAT road!

    Not Mfuleni though, but sill.

  2. I “like” the comments from these other races. They owning hectares of land that they don’t use while they are minority. Ignorance will cost them one day. Stay in those high horses and see the day when people have enough and close all roads where you won’t even move and decide to “invade” your Stellenbosch, Gordon’s Bay, Paarl, Hout Bay, Sea Point etc and see who’s gonna laugh. I don’t want to comment about races from Mannenberg, Elsies River, Bonteheuwel who are infested with drugs, gangsters but busy thinking if they support races from Clifton, Granger Bay they will ever get out of the mess. Continue passing these negative comments

  3. These people just want everything for free nothing in life is free anymore. Who moved them there in the 1st place?
