A Rinkford man was arrested for possession of suspected stolen property after police received information that he owned an unlicensed firearm, recently.
The Provincial Trio Crime Unit followed up immediately after receiving the information.

When they searched the man’s room, police recovered a revolver with six rounds of live ammunition, a gas pistol, an air rifle, a laptop and three tape decks.
The suspect was unable to account for these items, which were then seized. A case of property suspected to be stolen was registered.
The suspect was detained at Phoenix SAPS.
