SABC News Western Cape shared their post.
Theatre master, David Kramer’s latest musical, “Langarm”, is proving such a favourite with audiences in Cape Town at the moment that the Fugard has announced the extension of the new show’s run to March next year. The production, set in the story-world of the Mother City’s ballroom dance culture in the 60s, has been drawing capacity crowds since its opening late last month. It has been described as a story of love and intrigue, with the characters becoming desperate with the threat of new segregation laws hanging over their heads. “Langarm” features a big cast, including Cameron Botha, Rushney Ferguson, Kim Louis and Elton Landrew, under the direction of David Kramer himself.
