Asanda Ngalonkulu, the victim whose body was pulled from the river on Thursday morning.
The body of Asanda Ngalonkulu was recovered in a joint operation between the SAPS Search and Rescue and Metro Police in Amaoti on Thursday morning.
Local security forces received a call from councillors in the area requesting for air support after the bodies of a family of three were washed away on Sunday.

The body of a man and a child were recovered earlier this week.
The pilot and crew of the RUSA Helicopter met with rescuers at the Amaoti Police Station. After a briefing, the pilot flew along the river while search and rescue team used a rubber dinghy and a dog to search the water.
Police recovered the body a short while later near a bridge.
The body was covered with reeds and was sniffed out by the rescue dog. It is believed that the family drowned after their house collapsed during the heavy rain.

This is the latest in the number of victims who lost their lives during the recent heavy rains.
The SAPS would like to remind the community to exercise caution during storms.
