South African shark scientists and technology experts will conduct two further tests with an electrified shark repellent barrier this year, one at a local beach and a second in foreign waters.

The tests will involve experts from the KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board in Durban and the Institute of Maritime Technology (IMT) in Simon’s Town.
