Students of SKISA Pesco Karate Club took the karate eThekwini Region Tournament 2019 in their stride and walked away with distinctions in both Kata and Kumite divisions which was held at the Tongaat Sport Centre, recently.
According to Sensei Raj Govender, these students have been training very hard for this prestige tournament.
Sashen Yesabaram, Vishay Rajcoomar, Beanca Govender, Mikaylan Maharaj, Kaylin Govender, Predeshan Govender, Reanka Govender and Ethan Petamber took gold, silver and bronze medals. Sensei Raj Govender was very proud of their achievements.

SKISA Pesco Karate Club teaches students and adults the art of karate and also to keep children away from drugs, alcohol, and gangsterism.
With martial arts comes discipline, self-defense, honesty and good role models, it also helps build a strong character and confidence.
The Pesco Karate Club welcomes both children and adults to learn the art of self-defense skills.
