SPEEDING PASTOR OUT ON BAIL!

A PASTOR was among those who spent time behinds bars in Ekurhuleni over the Easter weekend. The pastor said he was rushing to church when he was nabbed by Ekurhuleni Metro police.On Friday, seven drivers aged between 21 and 56 were bust on the N12 East at the R59 bridge in Alberton. They were doing speeds of between 161km and 198km/h.Ekurhuleni Superintendent Wilfred Kgasago said: “Those arrested were locked up at the Alberton Police Station but released after posting R1 000 bail each. They are expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court soon.”On Saturday on the N12 Atlas turnoff, which has a speed limit of 120km/h, a woman (26) was clocked at 188km/h and a man of 27 recorded a speed of 166km/h. They were detained at the Boksburg North cop shop.On the R21 South between North Rand and the N12 bridge, an 80km/h zone, five drivers were caught doing speeds between 114km/h and 140km/h. On Sunday five drivers between the ages of 21 and 53 were bust on the N3 near the Geldenhuys Interchange for speeds ranging from 162km/h to 180km/h.
