Sports Minister, Nathi Mthethwa, and his Communications counterpart, Stella Ndabeni Abrahams, are due to meet with PSL chairman Irvin Khoza and other stakeholders from the SABC and Multi Choice in Cape Town this evening to discuss the blackout of premier league soccer matches at the public broadcaster. No PSL soccer matches have been shown since the beginning of the season this month. This after the SABC was expected to pay Supersport 280 million-rand for 144 matches per year for a period of five years. The SABC says it does not have the money. The meeting is closed to the media.
