Ten people have died on Western Cape roads since the start of the long…

Ten people have died on Western Cape roads since the start of the long weekend. Provincial Traffic Chief, Kenny Africa, says five of the fatalities were pedestrians. They were knocked down in Hermanus, Philippi and Maitland. Africa says traffic officials are monitoring major routes in and out of Cape Town this afternoon as motorists return from the long weekend. He says traffic is bumper-to-bumper in the Houwhoek Pass along the N2 in Grabouw towards Cape Town.
