The former SABC-2 Superstars winner, Kobus Muller’s German-titled album, “Lichterloh”, is being released globally today. The 33 year-old singer, songwriter and model is fast gaining popularity abroad and is nowadays based in Hamburg after being signed with Nextereo Records. The pop album also features the artist’s first Afrikaans song in seven years, called, “Petrol en Vuur”, that refers to the album’s German title, which translated in English means,”In Flames”. Earlier this month, Muller embarked on an extensive three month- long world tour of more than 20 countries on four continents. This follows increasing popularity on streaming and music sites. Nextereo Records says it has big plans for the local heart throb, including more German and Afrikaans albums, as well as music collaborations with a Grammy-Award winner.
