The international dance phenomenon and ground breaking show that has revolutionised the image of ballroom dance around the world, “Burn The Floor”, has begun setting the Baxter Theatre stage in Cape Town alight as part of its fourth South African tour. The high- speed, sassy and colourful dance extravaganza is renowned for spectacular dance moves and sizzling ballroom displays. The show, with a reputation as the toughest dance show on the planet, boasts 12 dance champions and medal winners from all over the globe, including Kylee Brown from Pretoria. Other South Africans in the spectacle are husband- and- wife team, the drummer Mike Swaga and the sultry songstress, Lelo Ramasimong, who’s a finalist in the local television reality show, The Voice SA. The premier dance production from Australia is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and is completing its world tour on local shores until the end of September. Johannesburg and Durban audiences are also set to be dazzled by the pioneering and popular dance theatre production.
