The Robben Island Museum says it has not received any official communication from the Ex Political Prisoners’ Association. Yesterday the EPPA, which represents approximate one-thousand 500 former political prisoners who once called the island home, held a media briefing in Cape Town. It wanted management to reply to a list of questions allegedly sent to it two weeks ago. The ex-prisoners who were alleging mismanagement of the insitution, claimed that they were being sidelined and called for the resignation of the museum’s CEO, Mava Dada. The museum’s spokesperson Fatimah Davids says management will respond to their concerns at a media briefing tomorrow.
